How to use Himalayan pink block for cooking?

First, clean the Himalayan salt blocks with a piece of cloth. Make sure that the salt block is completely dry with no moisture left before you start cooking.
Heating in Oven:
Place the dry Himalayan salt block in the oven and set the temperature at 170*F. Heat it for 15 minutes at this temperature first and then keep on increasing the temperature by 50 to 60 degrees every 25 minutes until it reaches the temperature of 500*F.
Heating on a gas burner:
Place the pink Himalayan salt block on the gas burner and turn on the flame of the burner. Initially, heat the salt block at a low flame for 15 minutes and then at a medium flame for the next 15 minutes. Finally, heat it at a high flame for another 20 minutes.
Heating on a charcoal or gas grill
If you want to heat the block on an outdoor charcoal grill, place the block on one side of the grill and the coal on the other. Heat the slab well.
For a gas grill, follow the same steps of heating the Himalayan salt block on a gas burner.
